WHO ARE YOU??????????

In this world when you step upto a person and ask them the question "who are you??" they jus tell their name or go on to explain themselves. Well there is a lot of meaning to that question. When someone asks "who are you?" it is natural to just give your name and move on. But then i would like ask "what does your name signify?" Immediately people jus go onto say what their name means. But then i could go on asking you as to why that name signifies that meaning, and the questioning would jus keep on going without an end.
Now i ask how many of you have ever thought that your name signifies you and nothing else. Your name is just something tat has been assigned to you so that you can be identified in this world. OK, now we have got that first bit of the question solved, let us move onto you.
Here are a few basic questions that i would like to ask.
  1. Who are you in this world?
  2. what are you doing in this world?
  3. How did you come into this world?
  4. Why are you alive?
  5. what is the meaning of life?
Well if one where to know the answers to this question then he would be the most wisest person in the world. But then i dont think anyone in this world knows the answers to these quesions. But these are questions that everyone in this world have thought one time or the other. Now how many of you have felt that you are not you but only a small part of you??
Let me explain that statement. You are something that seems to give life to your body which is nothing without you. But your body is something tat is again nothin without the life of you. Apart from these there are many more things that keep you alive. For example you as yourself wouldnt have thought under any circumstance that you are hungry or that you have hurt yourself or you are in danger from somethin. It would have been somethin else that would have brought to your attention these things.
So then you are not the one that is being alive??? So if you are not in control of yourself
then who is??? But then if someone else is in control of yourself then "who are you??"

Things out of the ordinary

Well I decided that from this month on, im gonna post some of my most thought stuffs about this world. Most people never think about these stuffs or jus accept them for they are. Well i jus like to post my views on them. I really would love to get your opinions about them.

THE WINDOWS RESTRICTION

Have you ever tried naming a folder or a file in your windows os as aux,con,lpt1,nul and jus wasnt able to do it?????
Well its not your fault. These names are actually reserved keywords in your computers. i.e. they cannot be used for ordinary names. Well there is a widespread hoax that one can never create folder called CON or AUX or LPT1,etc... Well that is not true.... You can actually create a folder with the following names.
I found one way of doing it when i was just so bored. Well another reason might be i also use linux. I just thought why not i try to name a folder with the reserved keywords and i gave it a go.
Well when i tried it out, what do you know???? I was actually able to create one. And when i went to windows the name was still there. How cool is that????

HERE CHECK OUT MY FOLDER:

Well there s another way to create the folder wit the reserved keywords. If you are only a windows user no need to fret. Jus goto the command prompt by typing the command "cmd" in the run dialog box. Then after that type d:\>mkdir \\..\\d:\con.
There you go. You have now created a folder named con. Jus change the name to get the names of the different keywords.

Here is one other small tip to create a blank name for your folder. jus click on rename of that folder, then instead of typing the name, press ALT+0160 or ALT+225(use the numpad to type the numbers).....

sQuba- The Amphibian Car

The sQuba, developed by Swiss company Rinspeed, is the world's first car that can be driven both on land and under water. The original idea by Rinspeed founder and CEO Frank M. Rinderknecht was inspired by the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. The Lotus Elise is the basis of this car.

Description
The sQuba is a zero-emission,all electric vehicle which uses three electric motors, one for land travel and two for water. It drives on land powered by its electric rear-wheel drive powertrain, utilizing rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Upon entering water, it floats on the surface until the operator floods the interior to submerge it. It can be submerged to a depth of 10 metres (33 ft), powered by twin electric-powered propellers supplemented by two Seabob water jets. It "flies" when underwater, like a submarine, as it is not designed to drive along the surface at the bottom of the water. The car's top land speed is 120 km/h (75 mph). On the surface of water, the top speed is 6 km/h (3.2 kn/3.7 mph) and underwater it is 3 km/h (1.6 kn/1.9 mph).

The vehicle can transport a driver and passenger in its open cockpit. The open cockpit design is intended to allow the occupants to escape easily in case of emergency. When underwater, the occupants breathe air carried in the vehicle through scuba-style rebreathers. Without occupants, the sQuba will surface automatically. The twin water jets mounted on rotating louvers at the front of the vehicle provide steering and lift while it is underwater and the propellers at the rear provide forward movement.

The vehicle's interior is water and salt resistant so that it can be driven in the ocean.

The sQuba also comes equipped with a laser sensor system made by autonomous cruise control system manufacturer Ibeo to allow autonomous operation.

The Koenigsegg CCXR Edition

The Koenigsegg Edition has been created to break records in the traditional Koenigsegg way. No other supercar can match the Edition in terms of power-to-weight ratio, aerodynamic balance, downforce and chassis stiffness. At the same time, the Edition maintains the CCX’s fantastic drivability and its ability to absorb uneven road surfaces like no other supercar.
The CCXR edition is fitted with a remapped, 4.8 litre twin-supercharged Koenigsegg engine, and has been track-tuned by the inclusion of modified shock absorbers, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and a lowered chassis.
The CCXR Edition has been modified as a bioflexfuel car, and can run E85, E100, regular 98 octane petrol (Europe) or a mixture of the three. When run solely on petrol, the engine produces 888 Bhp, but the higher octane E85 fuel makes higher compression, boost pressure and increased spark advance possible, enabling the engine to deliver a staggering 1018 Bhp.
Here is a stunning video of the car along with a review. But the car shown here is the koenigsegg ccx.

Production of the cars will be strictly limited: just 6 of the CCXR Edition.

Here are the specifications of the car:
Performance
Acceleration: 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) 2.9 seconds
0-200 km/h 8.75 sec. 0-200-0 km/h 13.55 sec.
Top Speed: 410+ km/h (254+ mph) (estimated)
Braking distance: 32m (100-0 km/h)
Lateral G-force: 1.5 G
Fuel consumption: Highway travel: 18 l/100 km (E85 fuel), Combined: 22 l/100km (E85)
Weight-to-power ratio: 1.26 kg/hp
Weight distribution: 45% front, 55% rear

Aerodynamics
Cd. 0,36 Frontal area 1.867 m2
Total Downforce over 250 km/h: 350 kg
Flat underside of chassis. Venturi tunnels at rear of chassis/body

From these specifications we can see that this particular car is among the top cars in the world and could also become the fastest in the world.

My Ubunutu System:

Here are a few ubuntu screen shots. Arent they cool for a non windows based os???

MY DESKTOP:
View of my computer with some folders and the application switch window in the foreground.

The workspace switch window:

THE SHUTDOWN WINDOW:
LOGON SCREEN:
The Loading Screen:

Well the ubuntu system wont look this good the first time you install it.. you need to tweak it a little to achieve this. Here aare a few sites that maybe useful to do this.
1)www.gnome-look.org
2)www.gnome.org
3)www.kde-look.org
4)www.debian-art.org
I usually take the stuffs from the first two . The first has a lots of materials and is updated everyday.
